Vanessa had always been a coffee drinker, but everything changed during a trip in 2017 when she discovered the depth and character of locally roasted coffee. What began as a simple cup quickly grew into a passion. Since then, she and her family have made it a point to seek out small-batch roasters, independent coffee shops, and new brewing techniques wherever they go.
Today, their home features a dedicated coffee bar stocked with a high-end grinder, precision kettle, scale, an assortment of manual brewing gear, and shelves lined with beans from small roasters around the country.
